I have alopecia areata which is currently in recovery. 3 weeks ago I changed my birth control pill to an estrogen only pill. Over the last couple of days I have experienced worsened hair loss, that appears to be more generalised and does not appear to be alopecia exclamation hairs. Is 3 weeks too soon for the estrogen only pill to be causing hair loss?
