Break through bleeding & birth control bills

I had been on Loestrin 1.5/30 for serveral years & had absolutely no issues. My insurance stopped covering it & substituted. Ever since I have had break through bleeding. I have now tried: Othro-Tri Cyclen, Necon, Femcon, Ortho-Cyclen, LoOvral, Ortho Evra, I am pretty sure Yasmin, the patch & the ring. The problem has been happening for over 3 years now. I give the pills 3-4 months & nothing seems to change. On the Ortho-Tri Cyclen it is a little less frequent & has seemed to only occur in the 2nd phase of the pills. It basically equates to one light period & one normal period. The next step talked about is an IUD.

What if I get that inserted & it doesn't help? I have heard breaktrough bleeding is very common with those. I just don't know what the problem is, all my STD & pap-smear tests are normal.

Should I continue trying different pills? Is there something better than what I have tried? Is the IUD probably the best solution?

Help!
