I've been on the pill since I was 19, Im 23 I've probably changed pills a few times. First I think I was on orthotricyclen, then I went to mircette and then kariva. But the company i was using to dispribute the medication started giving azurrette after i'd been on kariva for about a year. I spent 6 months on azurrette because they wouldn't send me kariva. And since azzurrette my period hasn't been the same. When i had been been on azzurette I was very emotional nearly all the time, crying over comercials on tv. Having my period not during the placebo time but the week after and my cramps were almost like they'd been before the pill. I am finally back on kariva and its been 3 months but i'm still not having my period during the placebo time i'm still having it after, the last few times the monday after. I am cramping the week before my period now anc currently spotting as well. I've also started to have cramping in the vaginal area.
I started taking the pill intially for my severe cramps that would prevent me from doing anything but lying down in a blanket because any cold would make the severe cramps happen.
I'm thinking of going off the pill for awhile to let my body figure things out, but how for long? I liked knowing when i was going to have my period, and when i'm not on the pill i tend to not have my period till i relax. In the past I have skipped two months becuase of stress and once had bleeding and spotting for 25 days. Help!
