Hi everyone -

Me and husband have been trying to conceive since 10/2006. On an HSG in 2007 I found out my uterus was retroverted but tubes were ok/open. Have had either amenorrhea (due to PCOS) or painful periods since age 15. Due to painful periods and retroverted uterus I had a uterine suspension recently on 12/16/08, where it was stitched to the abdominal wall. I got bilateral pneumonia postop, so I'm putting off TTC until my chest x-ray is clear. My question is - will having this suspension surgery complicate a pregnancy? Doctor says it won't, but I'm a little uneasy. I will be 32 in June 2009 so I'm getting on up there in age, I don't want to put off TTC any more than I have to.
