For the past several weeks I have been experiencing very persistent itchiness in my vaginal area. I shave regularly and it seems that if i miss a day of shaving, the itchiness is worse. It started after my last sexual encounter so I know that isn't the source of the problem. The itching wakes me up in the night and continues throughout the day. It gets better once I shave but once the hair starts to grow back, itching returns. I think the skin is dry but I'm looking for a remedy...

any advice?
