I have mid-cycle bleeding right now that is similar to a heavy period with small clots. I have never had this before....ever. I am 37 and have always been very regular. I am not on birth control. My husband had a vasectomy 5 years ago....

I had the same symptoms as you in March - for 3 weeks (I am 43)- lots of clots! Doctor gave me a 5 day hormone treatment that stopped it in 5 days -like turning off a faucet. In June it happened again and after 10 days and the same hormone treatment, I was weak - needed to add blood to my body. My uterus had stopped working and was severely infected - I had no pain and no other symptoms at all. I am now recovering from a vaginal hysterectomy. Go to the daoctor and ask about this.
