On 29/12/2008 I gave birth to my baby girl and I then had the normal bleeding associated with post birth. In March 2009 I went for the first and only Injection (contraceptive) with the knowledge that I would not have my monthly periods, and have not had any. In the last month or so I have started feeling very bloated and uncomfortable and in the last 2 weeks or so it has become very painful. I have pains in the upper abdomen which come and go and some are more intense than others. I have scheduled an appointment with my gynaecologist for 02/11/2009, but would like to know whether there is anything I can do until then to releive the discomfort? FYI: After my first child was born the doctor noticed that my womb was lying back against my spinal cord and this explained the difficult pregnancy last year. With the birth of #2 the doctor wanted to do a hystorectomy, but could not as my blood pressure was at 162/119 during birth. (high blood pressure was the reason they had to perform an emergency caeserian with #2) ↓
