I keep getting this horribe pain in what I thought was my left ovary. It's been going on for about 6-7 months now and has pregressivly gotten worse. The pain is really unbearable during my period, but is a duller pain during the rest of the month. I was told it was ovarian cysts and the pain was due to them rupturing, but everywhere I read about ovarian cysts, the symptoms don't fit. I don't have an irregular menstrual cycle, no swelling in the abdomen, no pain during intercourse, no pain during bowel movements...and many places say cysts are typically not painful at all. Does anyone know what this could be??
