It is almost two weeks of stomach, back, and tender spleen pain. Lower back-feels like I slept on a really bad mattress, but hurts more. Lower abdomen cramps-like menstrual cramps and hurts to press on (both sides). Tender spleen-under my left lower rib cage hurts to press. I sort of feel bloated and feel as if I could be constipated but I am not constipated or gassy.
CAT scan showed everything was fine, except a slightly enlarged liver due to fatty tissue (very common)-which was an incidental finding. Blood work on liver and kidney functions was normal. Neg. pregnancy test (two weeks into cycle) and we are waiting for lab work results for lyme disease and mononucleosis. I will go in for an ultrasound in the next couple of days to check for cysts. This all started with a terriable UTI infection with blood and clotting in urine. Present pain began the last day of a 5 day course of meds. for the UTI.
Does anyone have any ideas? I am seeing a regular internal med. dr., but might switch over to gyn because they are out of ideas. Thanks. ↓
