Please help... I only ever an infection after intercourse that is irritating (repeated intercourse or with a partner that is larger than average). Symptoms are identical to a yeast infection - severe itching, burning, swabs that are full of thick, yeast like discharge - but test results come back negative for yeast. Doctors have tested for STDS, bacterosis - all negative. Given that I always assumed it was a yeast infection, yeast treatments seemed to help - although this has been less and less successful. In the past few years, repeated treatments of Monistat, Diflucon, etc, etc, have eventually been successful in relieving the symptoms (so far at least). It is getting more difficult to get these infection under control and doctors offer no answers. I only get these infections as a result of being irritated by sexual intercourse, not otherwise. Any feedback is appreciated.
