Just diagnosed with a 7cm fibroid, I'm 45, done having children and have typical symptoms - heavy periods, cramping throughout the month and abdominal and lower back pain(fairly minor). Dr. had two recomendations Mirena or a hysterctomy....has anyone used Mirena with success. that is my biggest question.
