nipple itching/tingling

I had a series of allergies last fall and, strangely, along with these allergies (which are typical for me in the fall), my right nipple began to itch (feeling like a mosquito bite). This was followed by intense pain in both breasts. I saw a breast specialist, my gynecologist, had a mammo and ultrasound, saw two radiologists and nothing. I was told I had fibrocystic breast disease and told to take evening primrose oil, which I did. All symptoms have subsided, except now my left nipple is itching, not intensely, just a mild itching and tingly and is much more sensitive than the right one (which has no symptoms now at all). I never had any discharge and only twice in the last 8 months have I had a minor rash, which went away with a topical cream (I have lots, I have ultra sensitive skin). I take Mircette (and Ortho-Tricyclen for 15 years before that) and the itching and tingling are worse the second week of my cycle but is 99% gone the week of my period. Anyway, I'm stumped, any thoughts?
