Mild Dysplasia/ASCUS and Fluid in the Uterus

My mother who is 59 and had attained menopause 10 years ago, had a GYN checkup recently after like 20 years and we were told she has a small polyp on her cervix. After a colposcopy and a pap smear we found out that she has mild dysplasia and ASCUS was found in the Pap smear. The OB/GYN asked us to get an ultrasound done which revealed she had a lot of fluid built up in her uterus......and her endometrial lining was at 2mm. The OB/GYN gave us a topical cream to apply to the cervix to treat an infection in case that was the reason for the mild dysplasia and the ASCUS and asked us t come back fro a follow up after 8 weeks. She required a blood test to rule out the possibility of pelvic tuberculosis as the cause for the fluid build up in the uterus.......could this be the indication of the ultrasound which shows the fluid?
