Is it possible to be allergic to certain brands of condoms and to have a rash down there as a result?

I believe so...if you think you have a rash from teh condom (or maybe your partner does - you don't say) then i'd switch brands. i think it's possible to have an allergy to one and not another

hate to say it - but sounds more like an STD than a condom thing. you don't say what the rash looks like, or how long after sex you got it - but i'd get to the doc just to make sure you're not dealing with an STD

It is entirely possible - many women are allergic to latex. I think Georgie is right also - have it checked by your doctor to be sure you aren't dealing with an STD. Between here and there maybe try another brand of condom and see if that helps.
