Late Cycle due to pregnancy or BC

So I used to be on birth control and I finished my last pack in December 2011.I decided to stop because I broke up with my long term bf then and became too busy with Uni to be on track with the BC. I got my period January 12th and finished around the 15th. I became intimate with someone from Feb 3-5 (used condom every time and this is the last time i had sex). I got my period on Feb 14th which I believed was a good thing. Then I got my period for the month of March on the 24th (which was day like 40). I have not gotten my period for April at all and still did not receive it as of today which is day 43. Do I have a chance of being pregnant even though I had two periods before? I have read of cases where people do have their periods their they are pregnant and suddenly stopped having their menstruation after a few months or during their entire pregnancy. Or this strange cycle is because I got off the pill in December?

that is mainly because birth control pills prevent you from ovulating, hence you may somehow experience a delay or slight irregularity of your monthly period. you don't have to worry if you are taking your pills diligently.
