Missed Period But Negative Pregnancy Test

I have taken a pill called Tri-Regol for almost a year. I missed last month due to the fact that I hadn't been able to get any from the drug stores. My husband and I have used other means of contraceptives and we have been most careful. I have missed a period going on two weeks. I took a pregnancy test but it's negative. I s there a reason for my missed period? Is it due to the pill I had been taking or is it something else?

If you have missed once menstrual period but never did missed a single pill, there is nothing to worry and it's fine. if you are unsure after having a pregnancy test, then you can consult your health care provider.
