I began taking Yaz over a year ago and noticed a slightly rapid heartbeat. I also have anxiety and take .5mg of clonazapam daily to control symtoms. I recently went of Yaz and the rapid heart beat is much better and I feel more calm. Other than aggrevating my anxiety I actually felt like it had a mood stabalizing effect and I liked that my acne improved. Is there another pill that might have less of an effect on my anxiety? It would also be preferable if I could take a pill that would give me a heavier period than I had on Yaz.? I have a family history of iron overload and would prefer to reduce iron the natural way.
