Hello: I hope someone can help. I had an hysterectomy, cystocele repair with mesh done four weeks ago to repair a stage 4 bladder prolapse and accompanying incontinence. I saw my urologist two weeks after surgery and she assured my that my lack of bladder control would improve. It has not. It is far worse than before surgery. I see my gynecologist later this week and am not sure how to address the incontinence problem since she didn't do that part of the surgery. I have little control. If I feel like I have to go, as soon as I get up or climb the stairs, the urine begins and I have no ability to stop it. I have to go to the bathroom constantly all day and night and should buy Poise stocks since I have easily doubled the number I go through. It is so depressing to go through all this and to have a worse problem than I had before. What steps do I need to take with each doctor? Thank you for any help you can give me.
