I have just had a scan today and have been diagnosed with multiple fibroids. The radiographer counted at least 6 and also there was a cluster of them that he couldn't count as there were so many!
I have been having very irregular periods - sometimes lasting between 7 - 10 days and having periods sometimes in 2 weeks and then 5 weeks! It's all getting me down and am suffering horrendous pain, cramps and bad back pain. I'm fed up with the pill ( as it doesn't do anything to help) and am nearly 43 years old. I would rather have a hysterectomy than go through different options again. Do you think I have a good chance of having one?
