Ok, so I just started on birth control. This month. When I was drikin my pill at the 2nd day I qo my perio I had my period for a week now. Its just that I'm spottinq is that normal? And I just had sex with my boyfriend While I'm spotting, is it possible I can get pregnant this way?please reply soon!

Im on the portia birth control and the last two active pills I had I got a little bleeding but skipped the placebo pills for that pack and went straight to the other pack and I still have my period. I was wondering how long my period will last and why I have it on the active pills
