Please help,

I am 27 years old and bleed for 3 weeks then stop for 3-5 days then bleed for 3 weekd again. I had "normal" bleeding then I had a boy 2 years ago and since then it has been all over the place! My 6 week check found abnormal cells (CIN 3)with my smear so I had them removed, then 18 months later had a cyst and more abnormal cells. My OBS/GYN says they have nothing to do with the bleeding. She put me on 10mg of provera per day for a full month and that didnt stop the bleeding at all. She is now confused as to what could be causing it...? Please help...Im exhausted!

Hi, I bleed for past 3 weeks straight and it just stops. Did you GYN run Thyroid test. I had pelvic ultrasound which was good and I am going for a thyroid ultrasound tomorrow. Its not normal, your body is not supposed to bleed that much or in that cycle. There is a cause, your doctor has to find it or change doctors. They have to test to find the cause. If you research enlarged thyroid, a symptom is abnormal bleeding. Let me know what you find. Mine 1st 3 week stretch ever just ended and had me scared. They took me off of birth control until my body "normalizes" and they find the cause.
