I've been having lower back and abdominal pain for about three weeks as well as spotting. At first, I thought I had a bladder infection, but it was normal. My dr. did a pelvic ultrasound and saw a cyst on my left ovary over a week ago, but he wasn't worried about it since it looked like I was "just ovulating and it ws "normal size". I should have had my period about two weeks ago, btw. Since that was "normal", my dr. said I need to go to my GP. I continue to have vaginal spotting (varying colors) and lower abdominal and back pain. What could this be???
