i think it really depends on which type of emergency contraception you use and how soon you use it.
|

|
|
it is effective at preventing pregnancy if you use it soon after you had unprotected sex.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
of course it is better to take the morning after pill as soon as possible after intercourse.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
take it within 72 hours after you have had unprotected sex.
