i have been taking contraceptive pills since i was 20 years old. i am 31 now and i am considering to stop taking bc because i wanted to clean out my system. is there really an effect in your reproductive system if you are taking bc for the longest time?

i guess there are no adverse effect when you are on b/c for the longest time.

they say that there's a chance of getting a liver cancer when you are using OC for more than five years.

it will affect your reproductive health and may lead you to having amenorrhea or the absence of your menstrual periods.

you can take birth control pills as needed but for those women who smokes should take it down.

the long term use of b/c pills may increase the artery buildups in the body that may raise the risk of heart disease. if it is not really needed, i suggest not taking b/c.

there are so many alternatives other than birth control pills you would want to try.
